Reviews - Perfekt Termisk

Ralph Christensen in Dagbladet Information:

Tiny Mixtapes:

Sandra Boss has thoughtfully left space in “Perfekt Termisk.” The silences are warning sighs, and breaths between the gentle burping geysers and the softly flowing pahoehoe. We are given time to move to the side. If we don’t…

Vital Weekly:

Sandra Boss covers a lot of space in her music, with sounds popping wide and afar and yet there is always something happening. It's something I enjoy very much.

“Close your eyes and listen” is the mantra chosen for the evening of 14th November because this instalment of SMK Fridays events, the last of the season, is all about sound art.

The sound artist Sandra Boss will create a collage sound work comprising sound effect records, test records, animal sounds mixed together with some of the best sound art from the 1950 to the present day. Sandra will also bring the evening to a great conclusion as this evening’s SMK Fridays Artist-DJ.

The evening’s attractions also include the sound artist Jonas Olesen, Københavns Radiobiograf/The Copenhagen Radio Cinema, the writer/sound poet Morten Søndergaard, and Jacob Kirkegaard.

An echo of T.S. Eliot

'En håndfuld støv' (A Handful of Dust) is a theater installation based upon T.S. Eliots iconic poem "The Wasteland". In the old water reservoirs of Copenhagen the poem will emerge as an audio visual echo, where the horrors of The First World War will be transformed to an experience felt on the body.

With a sound delay time of 17 seconds the site will be used as a gigantic acoustic speaker, where acoustic and psycho acoustic phenomenons will be explored and exposed.

The event is part of Golden Days 2014 and REVERSE Festival,

Klang & Land Art Festival

Sunday 4th of August Jonas Olesen and Sandra Boss played a concert at the Klang & Land Art Festival in Rødekro, DK. The concert took form as a 4-channel sound art collage using old medias and metronomes as sound material.

Seismograf review

Dublet - Work for Church Organ

MAJ 2013 KL. 14:00 – 17:00
